Strength training

Since next next week is Eben's field camp, the army gave him an extra day out in civilisation. So while other recruits were in Tekong, Eben and I went to Pasir Ris to cycle. This was after many weeks of saying that we wanted to cycle but being too lazy to go. Seemed like the weather was not in  favour of us cycling as well since dark clouds was approaching. Thank goodness that we persisted in cycling because despite the dark clouds, it didn't rain until after we finished cycling. Eben and I was so tired after cycling for one hour that my legs were wobbly. How unfit i have become after not exercising for months.
After that we went to watch EPIC (which was my second time watching) but it was so worth it because it was a great movie and the animation was so lifelike. Fav character of the show was the cute three legged dog that only has one eye, it was beyond cute.

To celebrate Eben's birthday, we went for a simple dinner at Aston's. It was really fortunate that Eben's birthday is after his 17 days confinement so he could celebrate it with us. Anyway even though it was just dinner but it was nice catching up with him.After that we went to buy a cake from Starbucks ( cause Ben's and Jerry at Cathay closed down so we couldn't buy an ice cream cake). We didn't have any candles so Andreas decided to use his phone flashlight as a "candle" that he off-ed when Eben blew, So cute right:). Our clique is really good at being impromptu and " all talk no action" attitude.

Anyway, thank you Eben for always being there for me.Even though we have been through so much shit and misunderstandings throughout for the 6 years that we have been friends, you have never turn your back to me. Here to many more birthday celebrations. Hope you had a great time cause you deserve it!:)

Mom & Dad

Happy mother's day. To celebrate my awesome mother, we went to Buono for dinner. My brother's girlfriend also came along. Since i didn't get my mom anything, my brother and I decided to buy dinner.
Anyway, it wasn't nearly enough to thank my mom for everything that she did for me for the past 19 years. She is, in my opinion, the best mother in the world. Always caring for me and sacrificing things just so she can make ma happy. I love you mom :)

Happy birthday Daddy. Its quite a coincidence that my father's birthday is two days after Mother's Day. However, this way i would be able to let both my parents know just how much they mean to me. My dad has been such a big part of my life. He always spoils me, making me feel like a princess. He is really the most generous man i have ever know and doesn't ask for anything in return. I love you so much and I'm so thankful to have you as my dad.

My best guy friends have finally enlisted. Sadly all of them enlisted altogether so i lost all my texting buddies for two weeks. Hate army for taking them away for two years. But though i won't get to text or see them as often as i did last time, i know army will be an essential part of their lives and turn them into men:) AH BOYS TO MEN!!!

Eben
On the day he enlisted i went to visit him at his house. It was my last time meeting him and seeing him with his multi-colored  hair. Turns out he is in Cougar which is a really tough company but hopefully his pre-army training will help him cope with it.Sadly Eben only brought one i phone so he can't talk to me every night or his battery would die.

Ronald
Ronald enlisted before Eben at about 9am. So we did not have enough time to go to tekong if i wanted to see both of them off. So we went for breakfast at 6am at McDonald then his parents fetched me to Eben's house. Ronald is in Bronco, which is apparently a super slack company. So at least he can text me during the day:)

Ling

Finally Ling. He enlisted one day after Ronald and Eben so at least i had one more day with him. We shaved his head together because if he went in to shave, it'll be uglier. ( Eben and Ronald didnt' cause they loved their hair too much). He is in NIN-JIA company, damn hectic with super little admin time. Sadly.

Happy birthday BBG

Its the pretty and cute BBG birthday. On account of Jinming and Richard booking out on labour day, we decided to surprise gloria one day earlier. We decided to bake 19 vanilla cupcakes and stack them up just like a cake. Even though it was sweet but it looked so pretty. My helper was ronald. He helped by taking for me a spoon now and then and throwing butter in a bowl of flour. Best helper award ever right?

Anyway we had to wait until glo finished watching iron man before we went over. So that was about 4a.m. Guess what the little girl was sleeping on the couch and when she woke up she didn't even react to our surprise cause she was so tired(so cute right?). But after that she woke up and we talked cocked until 6. After that the boys and me went to McDonald's to eat breakfast.
To end it off, Happy birthday bbg. Hope that we made your birthday a little bit more memorable.Thank you for being born so that I can have the pleasure of being your bbg:)

Bookworms

It has been so long that I have not seen my beloved cousin. So it was so nice to catch up with one another.We met for lunch at Habitat Coffee. Which is this cafe opposite The Prata House at Thompson. Being small eaters we only ordered lychee tea, caramel coffee and truffle fries which was delicious! The cute thing is that the cafe had one of those signs that said " we do let you study but please do not deprive others of habitat" as apposed to the usual sign saying that students can't study in the cafe. Maybe the cafe can be my new study spot after i go university.

The next day my cousin called me to accompany her to go to Kunokuniya. So we went all the way to orchard to buy this book called " Wreck this book". Its this book that you have to wreck it, like its like page after page that tell you to like scribble on it or like chew it up. Then she also bought two other books like "doodle, draw , love" and Q&A. She spent 70 plus bucks on books, like books can you believe it. But it was fun, cause according to Celestine it was reliving childhood memories. When we were young, always begging our moms to buy us the books that we want and staying in the book store while our moms go shopping. Overall, it is always fun to meet my coussie :)

Wednesday was our prom day. firstly we went to MBS to check in. Then Richard brought like a full bag of Korean food like sushi with Ikan Billis and fried chicken. It was delicious and i think there were like 20 rolls. (we managed to finish all of it). The boys were too lazy to move so Glo and me went up to the infinity pool to chill out. It was super windy and the view was amazing. We didn't swim though, we just sat by the pool side and lied down and talk.

We then went to prom night after spending like close to an hour getting ready. It was really quite a fun night. Gloria and Ambrose won Prom king and queen which was really no surprise at all. It was quite interesting because both of them didn't really prepare anything for the 1 minute showcase. But being impressively creative, they managed to give amazing performances. Glo said some speech on how life in TPJC was fun and why she didn't prepare anything. While Ambrose made everyone get up and YAM SENG! (shows that charisma wins the crowd.) Overall Prom wasn't as bad as i thought, it was really fun going around taking photos and seeing everyone dressing up. The best part was still the hotel room and the people in it:)
